OK all, I am finally building my Forgeworld Thunderhawk Gunship! And I need some advice on painting he interior. What colors work? Should I ink, drybrush what? What color shoudl I paint the interior? Grey? Black? Bleached Bone?

Any advice or photos would be great!

After this I have a Thunderhawk Transporter to do....

HA HA HA

Yeah, well, I did get one of them on eBay for $ 400.  The Thunderhawk Transporter I paid full price for, but I think it is the coolest model Forgeworld ever put out.

Now I am thinking of how to paint them.  Dark Angels?  Grey Knights?  I play those two armies and Sisters.

You know... if you're so hard core that you bought two Thunderhawks, you should be able to paint them on your own.

Well, if you had graduated high school, you would understand that ones personal wealth, is not indicative of their painting skill.  And you also wouldn't feel the need to try and insult people by your witless posts.

bleached bone or a very light grey is best for the interior as it shows the detail with out been too bright.
i reckon for the chunderhawks DA would be best as they are more "usable" cold even do the standard as a deathwing on in bleached bone!!!
cheers

Woh there Supabeast and Linnear. Calm down you two. Supabeast- I already had to edit your post for language once. And Linnear- your reaction is way off base dude- there is no need to insult him back. Both of you please go and read Rule 1 of our forums:

Sorry man.  I think you should have deleted his whole post no?   It was merely an insult, which was totally inappropriate and added nothing to the thread.

Thanks Millest.  Yeah, I have it light grey now, and it is OK, and bleached bone does look good.  I am not sure if I am doing this T'hawk as Grey Knights or Dark Angels yet.  I also am planning my own chapter, which is Red with white and black highlights, and that would be cool I think.  Hmmmmmm......................

IF I did that I would've had to delete your response as well, and in the end I think it's fine for me to simply cut out the swear words and give you both warnings.  Don't worry- he was warned about his language, just as you were warned about your response.

No harm done though- as long as everyone remembers not to react so harshly or throw insults around in the future.

But on topic- I'm a huge fan of doing the Thunder Hawks without iconography sticking out on the doors- they seem kind of odd on an orbital insertion craft. I also think the ship really lends itself to battle damage and especially to painted wear and burnt effects.
