One of the many nice things about my homeworld is that our tribes remain somewhat distinct so we have a greater variety of features and colorings than most planets. Tamar here hails from our Navigator Islands a place known for its larger people with dark skin who like to fight wildlife with huge knives. Wait that sounds like where I grew up, and pretty much everywhere I visited, except for the being a little darker part but that's pretty cool.
