Happy accident, when I put the Iron Halo transfer over my chapter badge it looked like a sideways Eye of Horus. The chapter are supposed to be secretly descendants of the Luna Wolves. Chaos is insidious isn't it.
I imagine in their Chapter history they would have noticed this early on and banned the symbol, but given how the Eye of Horus largely disappeared even from Chaos forces the Forlorn eventually forgot why they never wore it. Thus they eventually started using it again completely unawares. |
