Image Description:
While I like the heavy bolter, I felt the model as it stood didn't look quite right, so I added an optic near the handle, and extended the barrel. Included in the optic I added a wire leading back to the rear portion to suggest the feed hooks into the armor allowing for continuous viewing through the site, and to allow the marine to see around corners and over obstacles. I did it like this for the look, and for fluffy reasons. I dub it the Mark 2 Heavy Bolter of M2HB for short, called the Ma Deuce (the nickname for the Browning .50 cal). |
