Love it, it tells an interesting story, and I like how you included details that play into it (his fish skin etc.). The detail work is really sharp, the implied textures are brilliantly done (great leather!). The one thing I'd change is the base, while the individual elements are well done, the overall impression is quite muddled (is it autumn? is it early spring (snowdrops!)? and IMHO the cooler colours of the giant clash with the warm colours on the base. Still better than everything I could do, though.. |
