Given this guy's size and complexity I slowed right down and painted with as much attention to detail as I could; took about three weeks from start to finish. Rather than just have the armour panels attached to a flesh body I wanted to have him mutating from flesh to metal, hence the armour painted as flesh and bone and vice versa. The Steed head is just because I had one lying around, and thought it'd be a shame to not do anything custom. |
