I love the scratch build but I always worry about cardboard soaking up paint. If you haven't already it might be good to coat it in watered down glue or something, or switch to a plastic box. |

For wood I usually cover the surfaces to make sure it gets sealed before I paint it. For cardboard it usually works well enough with 2 layers of the spray paint I use, but since the outer walls will get some sand glued onto the surfaces, perhaps it will work a bit better. |
