This is outstanding work! Could I ask please what base colour you used for bone colour? And what weathering colour? I'm planning my own LI Prosperine Spireguard, and you are my inspiration! |

 Wow, thanks :)
When you say 'bone' colour do you mean 'base' - I'm going to assume so.
The entire army technique is very simple. Base, shade, drybrush. The key at this scale though is that I use "marine juice" as my wash. Marine juice = 1 Reikland Fleshshade, 1 Nuln Oil and 2 Lahmain Medium.
The drybrushing is also very soft, use a nice soft brush for it.
Base:
Red - Mephiston Red.
Grey - Grey Seer
Gold - Retributor Armour
Silver - Boltgun metal
Shade:
All - Marine Juice! If there are large flat panels try to do a recess shade instead.
Silver and Gold - Some Agrax to deepen the shades.
Dry
All - Ulthuan Grey. The trick here is to keep is super light. If you go too heavy the grey drybrush will look odd over the red.
That's it :) |
