You can see a bit more detail of where I cut off the original tails. The original landing legs folded into the rectangular recesses in the fuselage. I have attached double Tau landing skids in front of these. I may add more detail or use these recesses as bomb bays, or just fair over them. The round hole in the middle of the pic was a screw hole. I cemented the hull back together so it didn't need all the original screws. I put a magnet in this hole for attachment of the small automatic cannon which represents the flechette discharger. |
