 In case you're wondering, the backwards "3" is an Arabic number 4. Arabic numbers are one, backwards seven, backwards squiggly seven, backwards three, zero, seven, down arrow, up arrow, nine, one and a dot. |

 The story I heard is our numbers are based on Indian numbers (who invented zero and the idea of the tens place) but Europe learned them from the Arab traders. Much fun to be had from learning languages! |
