 Nah. It goes something like this, early 90s GW created the Falcon for Epic, it looked like a flying door stop. Mid 90s GW re does it for the new version of Epic with the flying horseshoe we know and love today. Then this guy made a 40k version and won a golden demon. Then in 98 or 99 GW put out the plastic falcon we still have. This has been your history lesson for the day. |

 The Falcon hull came out in November of 1997 :) then it took them some years to create the Wave Serpent from the very same basic hull design... as with all Tank varieties available to Eldar to this day. Granted they've dated pretty well and all, the only variation to date that is playable in non-apoc games is the Hornet which is more of a Vyper sized Light Tank - and in a twist of irony has more punch. |
