Have you thought of having a look into some highlighting techniques? These are very neat and you have great brush control, but they will look a bit unfinished untill they have some kind of dark to light ratio to show detail. :) |

Do the gray highlights show up better in the darker picture or are they still to close to the base coat? I would like some help in that area as I dry brushed the entire model with gray and it grabbed the high points just great .. great on the highlights or so I thought. Unfortunately in this pic it gets washed just like the green because I put the camera on a longer exposure. I would be so grateful if you could look at the picture of them without the gold horns on the box where I painted them and give me some tips. |
