starting point for my IG force's standard. They will be in the livery of a rogue trader's retinue. The RT's heraldry will not look anything like this, most likely, but will incorporate elements. Conceptually the lineage began when the Lord-Captain of a system monitor ship distinguished himself after he and his crew were pressed into Naval service. He could not be awarded an admiral's rank in the Battlefleet so was instead awarded a Warrant of Trade. |
