Under the old Ork rules, Skarboyz were right below a Nob, but more of a veteran than your normal Boyz. I modeled these guys using the Orc Command sprue, mixing larger body and leg pieces along with the regular boys. Then, I bulked up the models further by adding shoulder armor, looted weapons to their belts, and a mini bosspole. I really like the effect of the bosspoles, especially. Under the new codex, with Skarboyz removed entirely, I think I may field these guys as simply Slugga and Choppa Boyz. What a shame. |
