   Only complaint is the gold/bronze on yellow--which is a heraldric no no.  But that's a little thing and it's brings-tears-to-eyes cool otherwise. |

   Thanks gents.  Yeah Manchu... I knew about the heraldry thing and struggled with it for a while, but I didn't want to lose the "special" or "veteran" status that the gold historically conveys by going to a silver.  It would be interesting to experiment with a different color trim on another model (which is possible), but I think this one will stand as is... flaws and all.  Though... if I wanted to be a pill about it... heraldicly, there is no difference between gold and yellow, so technically they're all the same color, so I haven't actually broken any rules.  Putting silver (or white) next to the yellow however, would break the rules as two metals cant be next to each other. |
