A custom model I made for my Lord of Change... although it could also work as a Daemon Prince or Eldar Avatar. I built it using a a C'tan Nightbringer as a base. I adjusted the pose so he's swooping rather than looming, mounted him on a larger base, crafted the mask, cape, scroll, and scythe fire out of green stuff, and then used smashed aquarium rocks and some glue to make the lava flow base. It's my second big conversion project and I think it came out well. Paintwise the only really expiremntal thing was that I'm trying to learn to do fire and lighting effects better. The fire came out well, but the lighting on his cloak fringes (meant to represent the light coming off of the lava) look a little awkward. Still, I'm very happy with it. |
