This model is colorful fun to me with the White Dwarf Grombrindal and his goblin captive wearing costumes. The GW studio's modern orange NASA spacesuit paint scheme on this model inspired me to do something similar, but I made my NASA homage to the original space program heroes of my early childhood. I met Buzz Aldrin once a few years ago at a book signing at the Smithsonian Air And Space Museum and he was much cooler than Grombrindal. This model with the white space suit and craters on the base is my little salute to what is to me the greatest achievement in human history and those early space pioneers that made it happen. |
