Thanks guys. Painting yellow isn't all that difficult but there is a trick or two that you need to figure out first. Using an airbrush makes it easy of course, but you need to prime white. Most of my yellows are done by hand, with many, very dilute layers. It only takes a few seconds to paint each shade, and each shade gets painted on about 2 or 3 times before I move on to the next lighter one. Since yellow is fairly translucent anyway, this works well and makes for really seamless blends. Give it a try, it's easier than you might think. |
