it's a great conversion work but I think they are too tall. A standart space marine is around 2 meters and up. But, these space marine are up 3 meters...
the paint job is great |

Space Marine height varies between authors, although the general consecus is that they are 3 meters or very nearly so in power armour, about a third of a meter taller in the old school Terminator armour, and up to 11 feet tall, or nearly 4 meters tall in the Aegis Terminator suits utilized by the Grey Knights and Custodians. Outside the armour, the Space Marine is about 7'6" to 8' tall, and weighs in at around half a metric ton give or take some. The 3rd Ed UltraMarines are modeled to represent 7 foot tall compared to the 3rd Ed Cadians 6 foot. This is because some of the modellers are very out of date on fluff. I actually agree with this so i reckon these guys are a closer reflection on the size a marine actually is. I mean there is no way a guardsman is almost as tall as a marine

I think Raff is right, they are way to tall (by at least a scale foot), doesn't mean they dont look awesome though. |

Quoting Dan Abnett 'Brotherhood of the Snake' page 35. "The craft ahead of her was certainly small, but the figure at the foot of its ramp was certainly not. He was a giant, cased in armour that was gunmetal grey...He seemed two or even three times the mass of an ordinary adult male, and even the tallest man-at-arms in Antoni's retinue would only have come up to the giant's chest." Assuming the tallest man at arms in the retinue is around 190cm, we could guestimate Priad around 240cm, or 7.9 feet tall. |

Fluff varies widely, which we can justify as Marine chapters themselves varying. But current fluff says the typical marine is 10' to 11' tall. |

Absolutely love these guys. Only problem I can see (and it is a TINY niggle, but i'm trying to be helpful rather than the OMGWOW you probs usually get with these models :P) is that I think the arms may be a little off. The forearm, to me, seems a little too short compared to the upper arm. Still, it's barely noticeable, and everything else is ace. The dust weathering in particular is awesome :D |

What paint colours did you use? I really love the look of these models and and not too keen on the dark blue/purple colour of regular alpha legion
