Nice job end', I like the dread and Red Scorpions all-together, really nice job. The gold and lenses in particular are painted really well, as are the banner and weathering.
I feel a proper base could really help it and I'm not sold on the pose, I think it looks almost like it's falling over! :D
Nice job though, I'm surprised it hasn't got better ratings! |

With a shot like this, you might think to upload a larger file which will allow users to zoom in on their own to check out detail. Having the camera zoomed out and file size this small will lead to people going through a bunch of different images and not voting on the one. Also making a compilation would help in that regard too. Letting people see all of the detail shots at a glance instead of having to click through to each one. See my Sons of Medusa Dreadnought photos.
Looks good though. I love the claw arm. |

There's no base as the guy who was going to receive it wanted to do his own.
Sadly I don't have the photos or the model any more to upload larger ones either. Next time... |

I'm surprised of the mediocre rating too!!! The pose might feel strange, and it has no base (due to GMS), other than this it's a pretty good piece! My favourite spots are the lenses and the weathered banner, looks like it's made of real fabric! Great job! (I realize, I should have rated it 8 for the painting, btw..) edit : The gold too is awesome! I'll have to re-check your thread to see whether you posted your recipe! |

I guess as Grey_death mentioned, the photo isn't big enough for people to zoom in and look closely and it is a bit washed out so you can't see as much detail clearly. Lesson learned on that one... I obviously need more practice at miniature photography.
I havn't posted the gold recipe, but remind me later and I'll post it in the thread |
