This is a shot of one of my Cadians so that you can see the rare earth magnet super glued into his base. The magnet is a Magcraft 6.4mm diameter x 2.5 mm thickness disc magnet. It's the thickness that matters more than anything else. I also use their square magnets with the same thickness when they are out of the disc shaped ones. You can also use the pre-made magnetized bases from Gale Force Nine. They have a weaker bond that may be gentler on your minatures. Sometimes my troops stick together when I don't want them to. |
