Very nice, although i think the black could use more depth and warmth. |

Yeah i think in real life the mini looks okay but in the picture the highlights don't show up so well. New camera and ditch the iphone i think. Thanks for the advice though, black is one colour that i find hard to get spot on. Still i learn and progress i hope. |

Yah, Black and white are the two colours that are the hardest to get just right (probably because there not colours at all). A nice mini tho, would be good to see it on a blank background and finished base. Look forward to seeing more. |

Got more in me gallery on a proper background but theyre not much clearer. I find black fiddly as you only really highlight the very highest parts and leave the bulk of it black and as you say black isn't an actual colour and it absorbs light. Excuses over now ha ha. |

The metal areas and face look really good. You could try to paint the black areas dark gray and wash it back towards black. That way you can get nice highlights and it looks black not gray in the end. Just finish the base and its a really fine looking figure. |

Now making a diorama base for him to make the whole figure a little more interesting. Cheers for your feedback on the black though. I'll try that method. |
