Turn 2, I really went after Boomhowler's troops. The Trenchers weren't able to do much to their Toughness. So, the Stormlances rode in and took out two of them with two more falling to Charger fire. The Gun Mages then made short work of Eiryss. At this point, I had activated Stryker, but had forgotten to pop his feat.
Andris capitalized on my error. He popped Kara's feat, sending a storm of bullets from herself and the Defender into Stryker. He didn't have a chance. While Andris might have wished that he'd moved his Rangers up before feating, There would have been little improvement for him on the outcome.
