Kilkrazy Painting 4/10, Coolness 5/10 @ 2009-03-30 21:53:04 White is a difficult colour to work with and hard to photo as well.
A pale cream basecoat with white highlights might work better on the armour. In regards to the photo, a less head-on view would show off more of the model. I like the use of bark chippings for the basing.
