Nice models, but cinematic bases to conveniently elevate the dred to 'just over the rhino' height? |

Actually not, and I find the assumption being made on a modelling picture pretty insulting, esp. since you're commenting on one of my hobby photos to basically insinuate foul play/cheating (I consider MFA cheating). There was even an entire thread where people tried to argue this, until I took a photo, gun tip touching gun tip, of a stock dread, on a stock base, with stock FW arms. I've made all the guns and shoulders, sculpted/scratchbuilt, and when I did so I set them lower on the model to make up for the height gained by the base. The bases are actually a disadvantage because I gain nothing in LOS from them, but almost never get a cover save because the base elevates me and doesn't count for % coverage (so for instance, ADLs don't give these a cover save). |

And btw, A stock dread, with stock FW arms, on a stock dread base can shoot over a rhino (at things taller than the rhino of course) . If you use a flat base it cant, if you use the "cracked earth" one supplied in the kit, it can.
See the photos in my gallery for the "proof" photos.
Same dreads used in all photos, though the third the photo perspective is a bit misleading. |

The only thing I would have liked to have seen was gun barrel openings drilled and black. |
