In the Yu-Jing regime the Nipponese, the denizens of Japan, are treated as second rate citizens. Most of the lower classes have very low quality of life, and service in the StateEmpire army is seen as the way out. However, the StateEmpire army always uses the Keisotsu Butai in the front lines and in the most dangerous theatres of war, and the mortality rate is sickeningly high. However, these Keisotsu Butai see the social advancement of their status as an ample reward of a life of war. |
