What a fantastic looking model!
I think you've nailed the aesthetics of the Korps dead-on.
Thanks to being super broke, I very seldom buy 40k stuff anymore; but I do collect dollar store toys (mainly army men) that I cut apart and reassemble, as well as sculpt with green stuff.
I have a folder marked, 'Army Man Inspiration,' wherein I save photos of stuff that inspires new models. And I can assure you, this vehicle has made the folder. Just looking at it I feel as though the gauntlet of inspiration has been thrown down.
