Image Description: This is my first ever convertion.
It was a Sister Repentia which i transformed for an on-line competition :)
I have been painting for 21 months but please don't let that sway you when voting :)

smellyoldgamer 2012-03-19 21:35:42 I like the concept, and think it's overall well executed for a first go.. but there's a couple of flaws that jump out. My advice for correcting all of these flaws is to spend some time rummaging around the internet for similar poses or materials before embarking on a conversion. images.google.com is a great way to find such image.s
First, the ball on the bat looks wrong. Her pose does not at all look like swing in motion. It looks more like a typical trading card photo Further. even the angle of the ball seems a bit like she's about to foul it off. Further yet, the bat just looks like a brown blob, not a wooden bat. If you look at most wooden bats, they are a much lighter color: more of a bubonic brown than scorched brown. A hint of a logo on the bat would also be nice.
