Here is my Gargoyle conversion. Seeing as the metal ones are so freakin' expensive, I decided to take a bunch of Hormagaunts that had broken off of their stands, drill a hole in their abdomen and put them on a flying base. My swarm uses organic jetpacks instead of wings, so I flipped a Devourer upside down, cut off the carapace piece at the top and cute the tip of the Devourer gun off. Then I took two Spinefists, cut them at the wrists and attached them as stabilizers. Then I took the piece of carapace that I cut off and attached it near the neck. |

I'd never thought that you could really convert gaunts this way, somewhat weird, but creative. What did you make the backpacks out of? |
