I really like the water effect a lot. Some of my most favourite models incorporate water effects. The pond flora looks really great, and the tentacles look genuinely oily and fearsome. My only problem with the model, however, has to do with the bottom right, where the base of the tentacle meets the waters edge- there appears to be a slight gap between the two, which ruins the illusion for me. Because of that (fraction of a space,) the tentacle appears severed, unlike the one to the left, which touches the waters edge and looks to be coming from an unseen distance.
Other than that, I really do like the entire thing quite a lot. |
