I'm really liking this conversion a lot. Normally, I think the 'Knight looks retarded, like a giant mother cradling her dangling baby from a stomach snugly. I hate the model with a passion, so it serves as a testament to your skill how much I really like your conversion. You've banished all the crap and brought out the potential lurking in the vanilla model that was sadly stuffed so far down that only days of conversion could force it to surface. So, well done! |

Thanks man for the high praise. I've gotten great feedback on this project so far and I thinks because so many people feel you about the original kit. I too just hate the look. It just feels like they really just got lazy with tHe concept and decided hey did you guys see aliens? I just finished painting him and am really motivated to design a conversion kit based on this concept since so many people have shown a true interest in it. |

I want to associate my opinion to yours: I don't like original dreadknight, finding it unusefull. Your conversion hit the spot! I really like it a lot! |

Yeah! This is great. I also agree that the regular dreadknight is lame to the max. When I first heard about the dreadknight, I pictured something a lot like this! Great job! |

Dude, this thing is awesome. Your sculpting and the pose both look great! |

I just updated the gallery with the almost completed paint job. I finished the base and added battle damage to it but I'm not sure if i overdid it on the chipping. As soon as I get better pics , i'll update it again or post in the showcase. |

from what I'm seeing, a conversion kit would be really easy, just need to make molds of either 8 or 10 parts, depending on how those shoulder pads are constructed. and to allow posability, also to sculpt the head separately so that it too can be posed in different directions as the customer wants. I know Anvil Industries lets you do casts, I'd simply sell plain shoulder and hip pads without any seals, and let the customer add his or her own. |
