 Go back far enough in the history of 40k and you'll find every space marine chapter was using camo on everything with various schemes for different environments ^_-. |

 I'm not too bothered about staying in line with the fluff, but camo is very hard to do well on marines because it distorts the distinctive shapes formed by their armour plates. This is one of the few examples I've seen of a well executed marine camo -well done! |

 @ExtremeMetalFTW-as others said there is a ton of Rogue Trader art showing cameo marines. Though they also had a bit of fluff from that time to the effect of 'cameoflauge is the color of cowardice' so the true in-fluff answer would be 'it depends'. Which with a million worlds and a 10,000+ year time line should be the answer to all fluff questions. |
