It is not a separate person. It is the body of the space space marine before his spirit was placed in the Dreadnaught. The Dreadnaught is a mobile body for dead or almost dead space marines. The body is that of the spirit controlling the Dread. |

No, Space Marine dreadnaughts are controlled by actual people, not spirits. Eldar are the only ones with spirit controlled dreads. The bodies of nearly dead space marines are placed inside dreadnoughts, before they die. If they die it is too late. There are no spirits in Space Marine dreadnoughts. |

Well now dmoe and snrub let's figure out a way for this to work real quick. Ignoring the whole spirit thing, I noticed his skull and armor up there, but there's no reason his brain and internal organs can't be inside the dread. That way it is still him piloting, and he still can have his own corpse as a macabre banner. |
