Image Description: The model is called a Sister of Despair, Used as a Daemon Prince with Wings. I was inspired by the story of Miriael Sabathiel a former Sister Superior of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, who is acknowledged as the only Battle-Sister to give herself to Chaos, and serves Slaanesh.
The Main body is the C'tan Shard of The Nightbringer with the Face clipped and then the hood hollowed out with a dremel, The breasts were sculpted using Citadel Green Stuff and decorated with skulls that were sliced off the axe of a Chaos Marauder and then filed thin.
The Helmet came from the Citadel Warhammer 40,000 Scenery Basking Kit and had to be clipped off and filed down to fit in the hood, a neck was Green Stuffed.
The Shoulder Pads, Backpack and Knee Skull (From the chest of a Chaos Space Marine) all were left over bits I had from my first battleforce.
The Wings, Left Hand, and Right Hand with Scythe are from the Chaos Lord on Manticore Kit from Warhammer Fantasy.
The Wings were Green Stuffed and Glued onto a Chaos Space Marine Backpack that had all the vents clipped off, and then were green stuffed and glued to the back of the torso with a hole in the bottom for the Flight Stand.
The Left arm holding the Nightbringer Scythe was clipped off and the hilt of the Scythe had to be sliced from the forearm and in place was the gauntlet and hand from the Chaos Lord on Manticore.
The Right arm's hand was sliced off and replaced with the Right Hand and Scythe from the Chaos Lord on Manticore.
The Flight Base is a total Mystery... someone in the shop had opened his new Chaos Helldrake and inside was a Flight Stem that is to thick and long to be a skimmer stand and too short and not the standard flight stand given to flyers, it's not on the GW Website and not in any other Helldrake that i've seen. |
