Image Description: This model was a HUGE lesson on one facet of conversion I didn't know could be that powerful: Balance. By shifting the model out from over its base you can create a whole new array of options, especially for things that are not firmly footed on the ground. Flyers are in fact free to move in a whole new way in the game, and balancing the model like that actually helps to show it. |

This is mad looking. What are the flames made from? |

Greenstuff, basically. You apply it across the wire that hangs the piece together, than you basically "prod" and "tease" the suff with a sharp point to get the shape you want. In my case, you prod it towards the guard.
Glad you guys liked it. Thanks for the support! |

Looks awesome, but I imagine it's a headache to run in a game (where's its front, turning it, etc) |

That's Amazing dude! Is that all just one solid model? |

Yes, it's just one solid model. Bit problematic to carry it around, but anyway...
As for the game itself I didn't hit any major roadblocks yet. The base is there only to make it airborne anyway, and I did my best to hold the dragon in the same height as a regular flyer. Turning is kinda cumbersome, but again, it's just one model. |
