DRommel 2012-11-20 15:06:23 Loyalist World Eaters? Of Nurgle? With Robogear weapons? That's something you don't see every day.
silence indigo 2012-11-23 03:35:57 You've got quite an eye for detail, DRommel... in addition, the snake tails are from Horrorclix (demonic chearleaders or something like that.)
They are members of the Cult of the Emperor Revenant, worshippers of the Corpse-Emperor who bestows his pestilent gifts upon his true faithful who will save Humanity from the False Imperium of Malcador the Betrayer.
Edit: They're dirty on purpose to fit with the Deathguard theme of the rest of my army.
Chaos Cajun 2013-01-18 03:12:40 They look great, but were did you get the pillar from. Did you sculpt it?
silence indigo 2013-01-19 15:20:23 The pillar is from a Heroclix resin miniature bought at discount from www.miniaturemarket.com (at 25 cents or such). The picture's lighting is bad but the pillar actually has a nice level of detail on it (and I'm quite proud of the flesh discoulouring on the champion's face, which the picture barely hints at). I've found that resin minis are a great way to get inexpensive bits for bases and the like, despite the fact they glue somewhat poorly to plastic (even with superflue).
The ant-like body came from a dollar store resin spider, bound to the pillar with superglue and greenstuff. Making the whole thing stick with the space marine wasn't easy and what holds it together is essentially the missile launcher glued to the top of the pillar.
