Installment-2, Illuminor Szeras (before painting).
I looked at the model for Szeras and my first thought was "That is a weird looking beetle ass..." then I looked at the price tag and decided against buying him. Then I thought, "I'll bet I can make my own with some spare bits!" Piecing together legs from extra Lychguard shields, a lower body from a Praetorian torso and the rest scavenged from here and there (including a clawed hand from a Genestealer!), I made a Szeras that I think looks the part much more than a store-bought model and fits with the fluff of Szeras as well! Szeras is my 4th home creation. |
