Image Description:
The Paeonians lived on the borders of ancient Macedonia and some of them followed Alexander off into Asia. To represent their antiquated kit, I have used a Foundry Trojan with a horse hair plumed helmet, but substituted the shield for something a little newer, adorned with the Macedonian sunburst. He is also wearing greaves, which was unusual for light infantry. |
