One of the most dangerous species of Squigs (after militant and suicidal Squigs) is "Squig Brain-Taster"!
Here is the reason why they are so dangerous… they suddenly dash to the victim's head and get sucked to it trying to reach victims brain with tongue. Thus, they get control of the basic primitive reflexes of victim. In itself, Squig Brain-Taster very underdeveloped and can not take full advantage of this situation. They are content with the periencephalic fluid of victim (liquid that is near brain). Simultaneously victim performs basic commands - which gives Squig Brain-Taster through the victim brain. Notably fact that squig gives those commands spontaneously and unconsciously.
As a result, the picture is rather silly - the victim often does strange and funny actions (jumping, falling, hopping, walking on his heels, etc.) and it is accompanied by uncontrollable emotions (laughing, crying, snoring, imitation of sounds of other creatures, etc.).
Common victims of this squig type is grots and snotlings. This is because they are way more easier aim to get plunged to the brain.
During all this process Squig simply hanging on the head of the victim and did not masking itself.
Their lives usually short since usually nearby there is Gretchin that kills them with savory kick. Besides Gretchin accidently crush skull of squig victim as well. Hilarious spectacle. |
