Superb work all the way through. The painting is fantastic, the basing compliments the model's palette perfectly and I particularly enjoy the originality with the skull-facemasks, I've never seen that before. Is it one of the skaven or beastmen bits? The plasma gun is also beautiful, its not often you see a fully detailed plasma glow like that. Heck, even certain GW painted models just skip the glow and paint the whole thing metal, but you went for it and did an exceptional job.
My only suggestion is to highlight some of the metal edges a bit more on the weapons. Since they're already wearing grey armor, the darker metal blends with it and gets a little lost. Some silver edging would really make the sword and axe pop more. Of course, the plasma gun doesn't need to be highlighted as you already did a good job with the heatburn around the barrel. |
