Plasma hammers, yep. I built them to rep. power fists, because I wanted the unit to have a medieval feel, since they are still in training. I felt a two-handed hammer would explain the extra strength. Problem is, I keep forgetting to roll for the pistol shots they should also have, so now I'll probably build replacements with one-handed hammers and pistols. I've been called cheap and lazy for using the plasma pistols. And, well, they're completely correct on both counts. :) |

I took these guys to the 2002 GD in Canada, where they got a silver. And I also got asked by the old WD editor (Paul Sawyer) to post some pics for a WD article, along with several other much better painters. I need to replace half of these guys (they would better fit a mutant army) but I did learn a lot from them. :) |
