Overall, very nice. There are pieces of the model that look a little rushed or dirty. It mainly shows up on the yellow beak, and the purity seals. The wash used to tint/darken them looks to almost have been a little much. The battle damage is realistic, and well done without being too overpowering for the model. I really like how it is applied to spots that might actually be hit and shrug off a blow, knee pads, face plates, shoulders, and of course the chainsword, which has those very nice and striking hazard stripes. I like the basing as it gives a nice contrast to the bright green of the Mantis Warrior. The best part of this model is the mantis head on the banner, the free hand is excellent, and easily the most intricate and best part of the model. You've got nice lines, good shadows, and it works well. My only nitpick with the banner is the Latin phrase, but that's a minor thing, I'm assuming you were trying something along the lines of Light and Shadows |

I like what you've done Selv. Nice, vibrant colors in an interesting scheme & all the free-hand is just great! Adds a lot to the piece. |
