Getting rid of the sealer? Without killing the paint underneath? No idea.
If you're committed to starting over and Simple Green isn't removing the sealer, then Mineral Spirits, paint thinner and ... eek, brake fluid (remove the plastic base in all three instances).
Or didja already know all about those?

I tried a spray sealer too and it literally ate the paint right off my model. Actually started eating the glue and plastic as well. Man was I hot after that happened. |
