Image Description: This is the same model after using Lift Off. As an experiment I let the plastic model soak for 16 hours. Look what it did to the base. I noticed that the thinner parts of the model such as the axe broke off too. But that's easily fixed by not having plastic models soak for too long. As little as an hour is fine. You can soak as long as you want for metal models. I suggest wearing gloves before removing the paint with the tooth brush. When you start to scrub the paint will be sticky and smear all over the place. Scrub the model, dipping the brush in the lift off repeatedly and then scrubbing the model to aid in the removal of paint. As you remove the paint the model will feel less sticky and more "slippery". After you have scrubbed all the paint off to your satisfaction, wash model with soap and water and dry off. You can now reuse the Lift Off solution until it gets too dirty.
