Image Description: This sculpt is just gorgeous. As fiddly as anything to put together, but it's a lovely miniature and well worth the half-an-hour of glueing, green-stuffing and pinning it took to assemble it. Although the game art depicts the miniature as having a glowing, almost blank face, I elected not to paint it this way. It's one of the very few Malifaux plastic miniatures that have anything in the way of an actual face (you'll see what I mean later) and I wanted to take advantage of it. Like all Malifaux plastics, the details were very shallow, so I had to mix my paints very thinly. Even then, I had to artificially create the top layer of highlights using a a high contrast (almost whitened) version of the base colour to "paint-on" additional highlights that either hadn't been sculpted, or else had been lost in the moulding process.
