Image Description: The leader of this faction of the dead. I've tried to emphasise his unsavoury nature by giving him a reddish skin tone such as you would find on oni as depicted in traditional Japanese art. He has a typical, featureless Malifax plastic face with almost no detail. Can you believe this guy's beard actually came as a separate part! As did the chopsticks in the hair of the next miniature? WTF? C'mon Wyrd miniatures, seriously? The beard was so small it pinged away when I cut it from the sprue. There was no way I was going to find it on the studio floor (it was roughly the size and shape of any of the several dozen plastic shavings littering the floor around my desk). So I sculpted a (much) better looking beard myself out of green stuff.
