Image Description: After forming the stones, they were then basecoated with a homemade paint (a mixture of PVA, Crushed Charcoal, Charcoal Ash, Painter's Caulk, Spackling, White and Black Acrylics, and Ballast) Overkill I know, but the different textures really make the stones appear more natural. Following the basecoat, I traced the joints in the stone with black acrylic, overbrushed with a charcoal gray, and drybrushed with light gray and white. |
