Very nice work! It kinda looks like the FW castellax with the over-the-shoulder weapon and domed head. I was actually thinking of using centurions as castellaxes (castellaxi?) and seeing this now gives me hope that it can work. If you dont mind, can you tell me how you got that helmet? It looks fantastic! |

Djdutton, I made the helmet by gluing two SM shoulder pads together, not end to end though, the top curve of one attached to the bottom of another, then i filed the ridge down to make the seam smooth, invisible and have a nice curve. when you look at the picture the pad who's bottom edge is inverted and that is the face of the helmet, the other pad will need to be trimmed to nestle in with a little over lap. I'll try to post a couple pics of the back, i think my explanation may not make sense. thanks for the comment! |
