how do you get that look for the paint scheme? Is it lots of layers of paint, or just a main colour with an edge highlight? :) |

Thanks for the comment stubacca! Many of the effects I achieve on my figures are multiple thinned layers of paint, and I gradually build them up until I achieve an effect I am satisfied with. Usually, I do a base color, then shade with a watered down color (so it builds up in the recesses), and then build my highlights from the base color up to the final highlight from there. Some parts require less work than others (such as black bits), while others (such as his body armor) require more work.
