Just wanted to get a pic of the kneepad work, which it wasn't easy to figure out what to put there. Reading about the chapters, alot of Codex Chapters follow the Codex Astartes, and alot don't. The Blood Angels use iconography on their kneepads to signify squad and rank, so I went with the blood drop. Even though Blood Ravens are not a Successor Chapter, it still fit well with the theme. |

How did you paint the highlights on the eyes and the drops of blood? I play Eldar and have decided not to paint the spirit stones nice, leaving it to be a solid color, because I can't get the highlights on just right. |

I picked one side of the blood drop, mostly the bottom left, and highlighted it up in successive steps, then badab blacked the top right side and added Skull White for the line detail. Same with the eyes. |
